One of the major reasons businesses lose staff is due to either the structure of their remuneration offering or a lack of competitiveness versus the market. We can benchmark roles externally to provide clarity on what businesses should offer and look at the mix of salaries and benefits and how to get this right to both attract and keep the best talent.
If businesses have their Remuneration Strategy right then this will increase the likelihood of retaining talent, however remuneration is only part of the solution. Beyond remuneration businesses need to look at career management, training, performance and communication to gain buy-in from their people. How often do businesses train their leaders to become better leaders? We think not enough. Most high-potential employees are offered access to leadership training to help them grow into a leadership role. Once they are promoted, they are often left to find their own way to becoming a good leader, with the view that they must lead in their own way. This can create leaders who crash into challenges without being armed with the right tools to succeed and can cause all sorts of issues, often leading to retention issues. We can offer access to two areas, leadership coaching and leadership training, both offered by external trusted partners.
